If you are ever in the Scenic Rim you may want to swing by Beaudesert where you will find this beauty of a playground. It has a lot!
* A giant bird nest swing
* A flying fox
* Spinning tunnels
* Huge slides
* Rock climbing
* Exercise equipment
* Slides
* See saw
* Swings
And more!
There are heaps of climbing nets and different access points to the huge 9 or so metre high cubby.
My toddlers were ever so keen to climb up the nets, which is great for their skill and problem solving development.
There is also a bike/skate area, a "creek", a bridge, a basketball court and lots of picnic areas.
The giant playground is only one part of the play area, there is also a toddler appropriate smaller playground (not that its that small) to the side.
There are toilets and the leafy tree's provide ample shade.
If you are out that way you should also do a 20 min drive down Kerry Road. Along this beautiful drive you will find to 2614 Kerry Rd, a farm called "Stay at Kirro"
Out the front there is a spectacular creek and two big hay bale statues of the cartoon characters Bluey and Bingo! This was a real novelty for the kids made even better by the Creek nearby (there is an episode in Bluey called the creek).
On this road we also saw a minion and bull statue wearing Covid masks.
Be sure to check it all out if you are down the South side!
